The Martyrs Memorial was built by Mitsubishi in honour of Iraq's million dead in the First Gulf War against Iran. An odd tourist in Samara (was built 848-852 AD).
Bedouin are considered rich in Iraq, because of their animals. But sanctions block animal vaccines, and Iraq lost 25% of its herd in 1999 to foot and mouth disease. Muslim mosque motiv.
